We present a precious pair of angels for torch holders in finely carved, gilded and polychrome painted wood.

The winged figures, placed on molded bases with a curl base, are entirely gilded with the exception of the complexions. They are depicted in a standing position, symmetrical to each other, in a chiastic position between the arms and legs.

Sculptures of excellent workmanship and quality, finely carved; Extraordinary for works from this period is the presence of a large part of their polychrome and original gilding, marked by a thick crackle.

The general conditions are magnificent, complete in all their parts. We have provided only a superficial cleaning of the gold, to highlight its original beauty.
