Heraldic coat of arms executed on octagonal canvas; it is a matrimonial coat of arms, or arma coniugalis, traditionally performed in conjunction with the wedding between two families. In fact, the coats of arms of the two spouses are visible side by side, forming a single shield, first that of the husband followed by that of the wife.
The double shield is surmounted by a plumed helmet referring to the rank of barons, while on the bottom stands a cherub head with garland.
