The Louis XV chest of drawers in question is a splendid example of the refined Genoese cabinet-making of the eighteenth century.
The surface, entirely veneered with open stain in bois de violette, plays on the arrangement of the veins, applied in such a way as to create a particular cross pattern, both on the front and on the sides, typical of this production area;
The front with two drawers without crossbar is very elegant with the shaped apron adjoining the wavy legs. The sides follow an exceptional concave movement.
The back, like all internal parts, is intact without any replacement.
Undoubtedly, it is a piece of furniture that excellently expresses the skill of the cabinet makers active in Genoa in the eighteenth century, both for the selection of the chosen materials and for the constructive refinement.

The furnishings are complete with chiseled and gilded bronze handles and key holders.

Conservation status: Excellent. Perfectly polished

The furniture, like all our objects, is sold with a certificate of authenticity.
